· A player can not throw from the centre third directly to the back net (Over-A-Third). If a ball is thrown over-a-third, a free pass will be awarded at the back net, but must be passed or touched by a player before it goes into the centre third.
· A player can lightly brush the net, apart from brushing the net at no time may a player touch the net whether they have the ball or not.
· A player may not step, land, fall, push off or jump onto the nets.
· The ball is live off all the nets. Once a player has released the ball, that player may not touch or regain possession of the ball until it is first touched by another player, or the ball makes contact with the goal ring.
· The nets can not be used to pin a player in such manner as to prevent movement.
· A player may not deliberately hold the ball into the net or push off with the ball to gain an advantage.
